Baby Blue Bus
This project is interdisciplinary as it combines knowledge from medical and health sciences with engineering and design disciplines in order to create a functional and comfortable product for daily use. Many parents with mobility-related disabilities have a limited ability to carry their child. Our team is developing a novel device that allows parents to push their child from room to room, enabling more independence in their care of the child.The arts playa major role in the functional and aesthetic components of the design for our community partner’s needs. The project was started in September 2021 and will be finished by April 2022. Our skills are in a wide variety of disciplines for both being able to understand the patient aspect of the product and being able to successfully build the completed design
