The goal of this project is to adapt the welsh bardic tale of Branwen into an animatronic attraction. The structure will be a 10’x10’x8′ gazebo-like roomwith each of eight scenes being performed on a different wall. This room will have two chairs and a moving floor so that viewers receive an intimateexperience of the story as moving robots, lighting, optical illusions, and original music surround and traverse the space, bringing the story to as close tolife as technology can trick you. Through current research and planning, special attention has been and will continue to be given to traditional welshsculpture, painting, woodcarving, and costuming for a memorable 10 minutes experience that can be relived with the push of a button.
