Fire Follies is a project proposal that focuses on re-designing and re-constructing structures to be more forest fire resistant. When a structure is subjected to poor construction, material misuse, and inconsiderate design, it is susceptible to environmental disaster. We are interested in studying cases of building destruction through forest fires to develop new construction systems and techniques which can be more durable, resilient, and environmentally conscious.
